Built with a builder. On a real kitchen.

Fernando Graumann was remodeling our kitchen when we started building GridBoss for general contractors. His projects already ran on a system he trusted — schedules, weekly updates, and photos, organized in Google Drive. We built GridBoss to fit that system, so his clients got a portal and his schedule started keeping them informed on its own.

How we met

Fernando's projects already had a system of record: schedules, weekly update sheets, photo folders, and selections lists, organized in Drive and kept current by his team. It worked, and there was no reason to replace it.

So we built GridBoss around it, on a kitchen that was actually being torn apart and put back together. Every feature on this page was shaped on that job site.

Keep Drive. Give clients a portal.

GridBoss links a project's existing Google Drive folder. Schedule sheets become live tasks and milestones. Weekly-update sheets become published recaps. Photo folders become galleries. Selections lists become things a homeowner can actually respond to.

Fernando and his crew kept working the way they already worked. GridBoss put that work in front of the people living in the house.

A branded portal for the people living in the house

Homeowners log in and see the schedule, weekly recaps and look-aheads, selections, progress photos, and messages. They can invite a spouse or a designer as a viewer. Everything they see comes straight from the project, so it's always current.

The schedule talks to the client

When the schedule moves, clients get a batched text with a link into the portal. Weekly recaps and look-aheads publish on the day Fernando already planned. Milestone completions send their own notice. The same sheet that runs the job also runs the conversation.

What we built together

Drive as the source of truth

Link a folder once. Schedules, updates, photos, and selections sync into GridBoss — and stay in Drive.

Homeowner portal

A branded login for the people in the house. Schedule, weekly updates, selections, photos, messages, and family invites.

Schedule-driven notifications

Texts and emails that fire from the same schedule Fernando already keeps — batched changes, weekly recaps, milestone notices.
